Winter Intensive

This December, MNCDA is proud to present a Winter Ballet Intensive designed for dancers of all experience levels—from absolute beginners to advanced students. Committed to making high-quality dance education accessible, this intensive offers focused training in ballet technique, choreography, artistry, and strength-building over three days.

Thanks to generous donations from our community and sponsorship from the SANDS Fellowship through the University of Minnesota, this program is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. Dance attire is also provided for those in need, ensuring every dancer can participate comfortably and confidently.

Held at the Barbara Barker Center for Dance in Minneapolis, the intensive embodies our mission to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for all dancers. Whether you're just starting your ballet journey or preparing for a professional career, we invite you to join us.

The intensive culminates in a Gala performance opportunity, celebrating the dancers’ dedication and growth, open to families, friends, and the broader community.
