Hijab and Headscarves

Female Identifying Dancers - Ballet

• Black Leotard

• Pink convertible tights

• Pink canvas ballet shoes

• Skirts are allowed but not required

Male Identifying Dancers - Ballet

• White T-shirt or White Male Leotard

• Black male tights or tight-fitting pants

• White Canvas ballet shoes with white crew socks

All Dancers - Contemporary Class / Choreography

• Ballet Leotards

• Black athletic pants

• Any solid color socks

Hair

• Hair should be in a tight bun, French twist, or braids that are pinned up.

• Hair should be away from the face and pinned up

• We warmly welcome and respect the wearing of hijabs and head scarves in our dance studio, honoring each dancer’s cultural and religious identity.
